The elephant foot mag on the HK45CT is just about as ugly and cumbersome as it can get, imho. I understand it gives you a couple of extra rounds, but, with that huge foot sticking out, it defeats the purpose of a compact pistol. The HK45C extended floor plate is a great spare part to have for replacement/spare parts. This floorplate is also referred tp as the "Elephant Foot" floor plate and is soft/flexible to resist breakage when dropped.
